Many of you probably have heard about Eastern Market. So very sad. They had a viewing on Saturday where you could see the damage on the inside. The roof is half gone and there is basically nothing left.

I hope to post some pictures (not that I actually remembered a camera to take some).

The city has committed some money and there are some neighborhood groups who are mobilizing. There is no official word on what caused it, but they think it was a dumpster that caught on fire combined with electrical.

In other news, sorry I have been so out of touch lately! It's been a busy few weeks. School wrapped up, thank God. We had a pre-marriage retreat and then I was at a conference in Atlanta all last week. Next week I head to Minot for a shower. After that, I think it will finally die down (maybe???)
