Titanic Dress from Hell

Sarah reshared one of the best "wedding nightmare stories" of all time. If you don't have the time or inclination to read the whole thing, just look at the top picture of Kate Winslet and then scroll down to see the mother in law interpretation. You get the idea.

With that said, there isn't alot I am concerned about for the wedding (at least at this very moment in time). Ed and I are doing lists, timelines, binders etc. This is one organized wedding! I hope to get to Minnesota and relax and enjoy everything. It's coming up!

Funny Stuff

I have attempted a few journals throughout my life, and if you consider a blog a journal, this is the one that I have kept with the longest. However, when Erin and I were in Europe (six summers ago, if you can believe it!) I journaled religiously.

I haven't looked at that journal since I wrote it, and a few nights ago, I discovered it again. I can not believe how much I had forgotten (and I am so happy I had written in such detail).

Last night, I read about the crush I had on Seb, our bike tour host Munich who was a Brit. Half-way through the bike tour, they take you to a beer garden (so Germany!) and Erin and I got drunk and I was trying to use British works like crumpets and the WC to get Seb to notice me, which in retrospect, he probably did but for all the wrong reasons.

Anyway...I am not sure the stories in there are as fun to other people as they are to me, but it's been fun to read them.

did i really just do that?

I hate it when I am retarded. A high school friend, who I am barely in touch with, sent out a baby picture of the baby she just had to all of her friends, family, co-workers, etc. I am *such an idiot*. I replied all. And it didn't say "CUTE!". It was a couple of sentences about my wedding, talking another high school friend who I had emailed (luckily I didn't say anything bad about her since she was on the email). And the whole thing happened so fast, I didn't even realized I had done it until I was getting "non-deliver" messages. Ahh! Anyway, I felt dumb. Had to share.

Had a very busy weekend. On Friday night we went to the Marine's Marching Band thing with Brad, Cynthia and Cynthia's mom who was in town. There are a few Marine Bands, but you maybe most familiar with the "President's Own" (basically the President has a band...why? because he does, okay). It was very cool (particularily the silent rifle corps...they have no verbal counts and are spinning/throwing rifles all over the place. Nuts!). We saw Jon in Assasins on Sat. and the rest of the weekend we ran errands all over the place (mostly wedding stuff). We finally cleaned our house too, which was embarrassingly overdue.

I'm back

I figured I would funnel some wedding anxiety--more like energy--into something positive and resume blogging.

I was on the Ann Taylor Loft website and went to buy this dress that was onsale a minute ago and as I went to check out it was gone. I had it in the "cart" already, but someone bought it out from under neath me.

How dare they!

It was a back-up rehearsal dinner dress. I have one already, but every girl needs a back-up.
